On the Layout tab, under View, click Page Layout. On the Layout tab, under Page Setup, click Header Footer. Choose from a list of standard headers or footers by going to the Header or Footer pop-up menu, and clicking the header or footer that you want.
Find this useful? Go to the Styles section of the Home tab on the main ribbon. Select the text youre using as a heading and click on the appropriate Heading style (e.g. Heading 1, Heading 2, etc.)
Now, what if we need to change the header? You can change the header margin too. We do the same thing, we double-click the header area, we press Ctrl+A to select everything inside there. And then we drag that right indent marker about an inch from the edge of the page.

There are three common ways to format a transcript that includes full verbatim, semi-verbatim, and intelligent verbatim. Full verbatim: Transcribing in full verbatim means replicating everything as you heard in the original audio or video recording.
Verbatim vs. There are two main transcription practices: verbatim and clean read. Verbatim practice transcribes the text word-for-word, and includes all speech and utterances that the speaker conveys. Filler words, like um, speech errors, and slang words are included in the transcript.
On the status bar, click the Page Layout View button. Select the header or footer text you want to change. On the Home tab in the Font group, set the formatting options that you want to apply to the header / footer. When youre done, click the Normal view button on the status bar.
Transcript Format Guidelines No fewer than 25 typed lines on standard 8-1/2 x 11 paper. No fewer than nine or 10 characters to the typed inch. Left-hand margin to be set at no more than 1-3/4 inches. Right-hand margin to be set at no more than 3/8 inch. Each question and answer to begin on a separate line.
How to Add a Line to a Header in Word Double-click the Word header to enter Editing mode. Click the end of a line and press Enter if you need a blank line on which to add your graphic. Click the Insert tab and click Shapes from the Illustrations group. Click a line format from the Line group.
