All right, well here I am on my desktop and what were going to do first is I want to show you how to do it using Outlook desktop. I have Outlook here on my taskbar. Im going to go ahead and click on this. This is the latest version of Outlook, its part of Office 365. Itll probably work if you have an older version of Outlook as well, but I cant promise anything, but signatures havent changed that much. There are only a small number of documents that require execution by way of a deed. These include land transfers, leases, mortgages and charges, sales by a mortgagee, appointments of trustees, powers of attorney, gifts of tangible goods that are not accompanied by delivery, and releases and variations.
For a deed to be legal it must state the name of the buyer and the seller, describe the property that is being transferred, and include the signature of the party that is transferring the property.
Signing as a deed requires those very words above to be written on the document and the signature of the person making the deed. The signature should be on the document itself approximately in the space provided. The words of execution should name the signatory or otherwise make clear who has signed the document.
A deed is the actual legal document that would transfer the ownership (title) of a property from one person to another. A deed is signed by the person selling or transferring the property rights, called the grantor.
The grant deed is the most common type of deed used in the selling of property. A grant deed must describe the property by legal description of boundaries and/or parcel numbers. A grant deed warrants that the grantor actually owned the title to transfer. The deed must be signed by the grantor and the grantee.

A deed is a written document which is executed with the necessary formality (that is, more than a simple signature), and by which an interest, right or property passes or is confirmed, or an obligation binding on some person is created or confirmed. Deeds are generally enforceable despite any lack of consideration.
