so we know with edmodo when you create groups after a few weeks edmodo will lock those groups which makes um the group codes change and if you have kids who want to join a group later or if you are trying to join the grade level groups you know that those those group codes change and so you cant really post group codes and expect them to be consistent for very long but theres actually another way to share the ability for people to join a group and its with a join url right next to the group code youll see a join url and these dont change so if you click that youre going to notice that theres an invite code and you can just simply copy that and send it in an email or you can post it somewhere else you can post it on edmodo or you could share it with your students another way but those join urls dont change they are permanent so thats another way to get group codes shared out to a large group without having to worry about that code changing
