when you join two objects in blender you will often mess up the textures and we can easily fix this by selecting each object and then renaming the uv maps so i just give them the same name im going to call this one jet and then select the other objects and call this uv map jet as well and when we press control j to join the textures are no longer destroyed

Youd need to do the following: Combine the two separate material graphs into one by copying and pasting the nodes from one material into the graph of the other, spaced out in their own discrete groups. Add a mix shader and plug the output from the shaders at the output end of the two sets of nodes into it.

Once its selected, hold down Shift and left-click the other objects you want to join. The last object you select will be the parent. Once everything you want to be joined is selected, click on the Join button in the Object menu (as shown in the above image) or simply press Ctrl + J.
The Substance Texture Set Merger will allow you to work with multiple Texture sets, which also gives you added benefits such as the ability to alter the visibility of parts of your Substance Painter model.
Select the textured faces (coplanar faces!) and right click on one of them select Combine Textures in the appearing context menu.
Mix Shader. The Mix node is used to mix two shaders together. Mixing can be used for material layering, where the Factor input may, for example, be connected to a Blend Weight node.
Merge outputs of two nodes using a Mix node or Mix Shader node by dragging from one node to another while holding down Alt - RMB . A Mix node or Mix Shader node will be added and the outputs of the nodes will be connected to it.
This is how we can mix materials in Blender: Setup a material for your object. Use a PBR texture set together with a principled shader node. Use a mix shader to mix between multiple texture sets. Use a black and white input for the mix factor to tell Blender what PBR material goes where on the surface of the object.
