Assign materials to multiple objects in Blender Go to object mode. Prepare one object with the materials you want assigned to multiple objects. Select all objects you want to copy the materials to. Hold shift and click the object you prepared last to make it the active object. Press Ctrl+L. Choose link materials.
Texture Layers Layers work similar to typical 2D image editing applications. Blend modes, masks, reordering, hiding, merging, and modifiers would be supported. Selecting an image texture or color attribute would enable painting on it in the 3D viewport.
Heres how to join two objects: Left-click to select the first object the one that you dont want to be the parent. Once everything you want to be joined is selected, click on the Join button in the Object menu (as shown in the above image) or simply press Ctrl + J.
If you select every thing Mesh objects, Lights, Camera etc then open the Object menu you will find that the Join option has been greyed out, and it wont appear in the search either. If you select only the Mesh objects then you can use the Join function and Join operation will appear in the Search.
just joining the meshes with ctrl j wont destroy the uvs, it will simply stack them in the positions that they were originally unwrapped youll need to stitch your texture maps together in PS/gimp then carefully re locate the uvs into the correct positions on the map.
Joining Objects Select the first object by left-clicking on it. This would be the non-parent object. Once selected, hold down the Shift button and then left-click on the other object. Now with every object selected, click on the object menu, or press Ctrl + J. Click on the Join button found in the object menu.

This is how we can mix materials in Blender: Setup a material for your object. Use a PBR texture set together with a principled shader node. Use a mix shader to mix between multiple texture sets. Use a black and white input for the mix factor to tell Blender what PBR material goes where on the surface of the object.
