hi Im Christine Chang and today Im going to show you how to photograph a wedding ceremony first things first I shoot with two camera bodies I shoot with a Canon 5d Mark 3 and on one lens I have the 24 to 70 F 2.8 and on the other one I have the 70 to 200 F 2.8 these lenses are pretty expensive to have and I know a lot of people might not have this long lens if youre a newbie but I highly recommend renting one at least having two camera bodies to begin with because if your first camera body fails which that has happened to me twice before you have a backup and I cant imagine what you would tell about a mutant half of backups and the 70 to 200 lens its also I think its the difference between okay wedding photos and really high-impact intimate emotional photos and Ill tell you why in a bit so now were gonna go to a setup of a wedding ceremony Im going to show you how myself and my second shooter maneuver while were shooting one now to start off we have the primary and second pet

1) Give guest forewarning. Ensure that you let guests know you dont want them taking photos ahead of time by including a brief note with your invitations, something along the lines of: It is our sincerest wish that photos not be taken during our wedding ceremony. We truly appreciate guests adhering to this request.
Getting Your Wedding Guests To Post Pictures On Social Media Why Incorporate Social Media. Choose A Memorable Hashtag. Design Hashtag Invitations. Use Your Hashtag At All Wedding-Related Events. Use Hashtag Reminder Cards. Utilize Your Hashtag In Decorations. Make An Announcement. Ask For At Least One Picture From Everyone.
Here are a few things wedding guests should never do. Arrive late. Show up if you didnt RSVP. Bring your pet along in place of a plus one. Bring one of the bride or grooms exes along as a plus one. Bring along a plus one if the RSVP card indicated not to.
The most common option is after the ceremony and before the reception. This usually coincides with the end of the afternoon/beginning of the evening, and with our beloved sunset. I am pretty sure I can vouch for almost every other wedding photographer on the planet when I say that this is our favorite option.
Guests should get permission from the bride and groom to take pictures of their ceremony. And if you dont want pictures posted until after the ceremony, tell your guests ahead of time.
Caption Options. Put a note in your wedding program. We ask you to kindly turn off your ringers during the wedding ceremony and refrain from taking photos. We have professional photographers on hand to capture all the special moments and are excited to share their photos with you.
While roughly 90% of couples choose to take their photos before the ceremony, there are still some who want to be traditional and not let the groom see the bride until she is walking down the aisle.
