Using Pages templates for mail merge Open a Pages template on the Mac, such as a Letter. Click on the Document icon. Scroll to the bottom and select Mail Merge. Click on Merge Choose Contacts or Spreadsheet. If you choose Contacts, you can select a group. If you choose Spreadsheet, you have to then find that file.
In each document, choose View Thumbnails to show page thumbnails in the sidebar. Press and hold the Command key ⌘, select the page thumbnails that you want to add to the other document, then release the key. Drag the selected thumbnails into the sidebar of the other PDF, then release where you want them to appear.
On the Mac, just create a template with the File New command or open an existing one, and then choose File Mail Merge to step through the process. (The features also available for the first time in the iOS and iPadOS versions of Pages, under the three dots menu: tap Mail Merge to start the process.)

Place your insertion point or select existing text where you want to add a merge field, click Document in the sidebar, click the Document tab, then click Mail Merge. Choose Add Merge Field, then choose the field youd like to add from the list.
On the MAILINGS tab, click Start Mail Merge and Step-by-Step Mail Merge Wizard. Select the type of document you want to add mail merge to, and click Next. Here you can start a new document from a template or existing document.
You can insert one or more mail merge fields that pull the information from your spreadsheet into your document. Go to Mailings Insert Merge Field. Add the field you want. Repeat steps 1 and 2 as needed. Choose File Save.
Go to File Options Advanced. Scroll down to the General section, select the check box Confirm file format conversion on open and click OK. Start your Mail Merge as usual (the detailed steps are here). When it comes to selecting recipients, choose Use an existing list.
