hey whats up youtube its ian and uh today im gonna be talking about how i chose my name and just things to consider when youre picking a new name when you transition uh so i think the first important thing to remember is that you can always change your name again if you dont like it if you pick something out and youre not really so sure about it its completely fine to change it again and youre not burdening other people by changing it dont feel like its hurting them by changing it its really not that hard and it when it comes down to it it really matters about if youre comfortable with the name or not you dont want to be walking around with some name youre not comfortable with because that would just be practically the same way that you lived pre-transition its very important to have a name that you identify with um so first thing when i when i chose my name i initially was thinking about going for something more gender neutral you know i thought about alex skyler skye
