An asset is a file that is bundled and deployed with your app, and is accessible at runtime. Common types of assets include static data (for example, JSON files), configuration files, icons, and images (JPEG, WebP, GIF, animated WebP/GIF, PNG, BMP, and WBMP).
You should also have Android Studio installed, which provides a development environment for building Android applications. Step 1: Create the Asset Folder. Step 2: Create the Model Class. Step 3: Read JSON Data from Assets. Step 4: Convert JSON to Model Objects. Step 5: Putting It All Together.
To start Image Asset Studio, follow these steps: In the Project window, select the Android view. Right-click the res folder and select New Image Asset. Continue by following the steps to: If your app supports Android 8.0, create adaptive and legacy launcher icons.
There are more than one ways to load image from the assets folder, but Ill show you the most simplest one. Unlike the drawable folder, we cannot load image from assets by doing something like this: R. drawable. imagename, we need to read the image from a stream and create a drawable from the stream.
To display an image in Flutter, do the following steps: Step 1: First, we need to create a new folder inside the root of the Flutter project and named it assets. Step 2: Next, inside this folder, add one image manually. Step 3: Update the pubspec.yaml file. Step 4: Finally, open themain. Step 5: Now, run the app. Output.
you cannot download files in apps Asset folder. Instead you should use getCacheDir() (on internal memory) or getExternalCacheDir() (on SD card, available in Froyo and above) to download and retrieve your files. File file = new File(getFilesDir(), sample.
Step 1: First click on drawable New Image Asset. Step 2: Then a new dialog box will appear. Here click on the Clip Art Image. Step 3: Then search for the image you are looking for.
