hello this is kevin from surfing the ether and i just want to say that this is my first ever screencast so please be gentle but what im going to show you today is how to join text data in two separate columns and then join them up to create a third separate column so this is a handy trick that you can use in Excel so Im gonna start off by tapping in the column heading which will be full name and in order to join the first names and last names you use a very simple formula and Im going to type it in so equals Im going to click on a2 which is our first name and now go Im going to use a character called an ampersand so if you look on your keyboard you press shift and you press the number 7 and there is the ampersand and then you click on b2 and press Enter hooray so you see that weve joined our first name and last name but theres a slight problem theres no space in between the first name and last name so what we have to do is to tweak our formula just a little bit and add the spa

In cell D2 enter the following formula: =(C2, B2) Press enter. Cell D2 should now produce the result youre after (i.e. if cell B2 contained the name John and cell C2 contained the name Doe, cell D2 should now show Doe, John)
Connect the two computers with a cable via any of their Thunderbolt ports. Open System Preferences Network and make sure Thunderbolt Bridge appears in the list of interfaces at left on both Macs. If not, click the + (plus) and select Thunderbolt Bridge to add it, click Create, and click Apply.
No. Apple IDs cannot be merged. You could create a family share between the two IDs if necessary.
Most of these will cost you absolutely nothing except a bit of time to set up. Set up your Apple ID. Back up early and often. Use the Help menu. Get familiar with the  Menu. Visit the Mac App Store. Set up your email. Find your printer. Get to know Spotlight.
If your Mac has multiple users, you should set up an account for each person so each can personalize settings and options without affecting the others. You can let occasional users log in as guests without access to other users files or settings.
Use a drop box to share a file with another user of your Mac You can use drop boxes to share files with individual users. In the Finder on your Mac, choose Go Go to Folder. Enter /Users/[username]/Public, then press Return. Drag the item (or a copy of it) into the Drop Box folder.
Choose Apple menu  System Preferences. Click Users Groups. Click the lock , then enter the administrator name and password that you used to log in. Press and hold the Control key on your keyboard, then click the name of the account that youre renaming.
If you have two user accounts on macOS and want to merge them into one, a simple solution would be to first back up the data of one account, then delete it. macOS doesnt offer any simpler way to merge two accounts.
