welcome to tesselbytes where we serve you gis and smallbytes today well be covering arcgis pro using the join field geoprocessing tool so lets get started im looking at some unemployment census data in harris county texas or you may know houston im working with two pivot tables from the same sets of data on the left i have the track population total and on the right i have the unemployment total as well as the counts of how many blocks in each track what id like to do is combine these two so i can run some summary statistics id like to be able to calculate my percent of unemployment but i cant do that without my population per tract and while the field aliases for block groups may be different between the two tables they do have a unifying tract field and these tracks are unique so ill be joining on these two to better visualize the join field taken us to model builder and ive opened up the geoprocessing pane you can see here that theres join field join features and add join
