Load templates or add-ins , and then select Word Options > Add-ins. In the Manage list, select Word Add-ins, and then click Go. Click the Templates tab. Under Global templates and add-ins, select the check box next to the template or add-in that you want to load.
In this article Select the Insert tab. Select Object, and then select Text from File from the drop-down menu. Select the files to be merged into the current document. Press and hold Ctrl to select more than one document. Note. Documents will be merged in the order in which they appear in the file list.
Click in the table that you want to format. Under Table Tools, click the Design tab.
Grouping objects Hold the Shift (or Ctrl) key and click the objects you want to group. Click the Group command on the Format tab, then select Group. The selected objects will now be grouped.
Step 1 − When you click on a chart, CHART TOOLS comprising of DESIGN and FORMAT tabs appear on the Ribbon. Step 2 − Click the DESIGN tab on the Ribbon. The Ribbon changes to the DESIGN commands.
It's the fourth tab from the left, between the Insert and the Layout tabs. If you do not see it, go to File>Options>Customize Ribbon and check the box to the left of Design.
In the Word Options window, Click on "Customize Ribbon" in the left-hand sidebar....To change the wording or formatting of the control's placeholder text: Turn on "Design Mode". Highlight the placeholder text and make formatting adjustments as desired. Turn OFF "Design Mode".
If the Developer tab has been activated in the Ribbon, Design Mode is already enabled. However, if no controls have been inserted onto the worksheet, there is nothing to 'design'. Therefore, it will be grayed out. Add any control to the worksheet and Design Mode will be available to use by clicking the menu option.
You can drag the table to join with another one. Click at anywhere of the table you want to drag, then the cross sign will be appeared. Then click on this cross sign to select the whole table, and drag it to place near the table you want to join to. Release the cursor, now the table has been joined to the above one.
Open the Word document that you want to save as a template. On the File menu, click Save as Template. In the Save As box, type the name that you want to use for the new template. (Optional) In the Where box, choose a location where the template will be saved.
