Put your cursor anywhere inside the paragraph. Select Format/Align Indent/Indentation Options: Youll see this dialog: Change the hanging indent to anything you like, including 0.
Click the Home tab, and then click the Paragraph dialog box launcher. Under Indentation, in the Before text box, click the arrow to set the measurement you want, such as 0.5.
What Are Anchor Points in PowerPoint? Anchor points are sometimes referred to as rotation points. Theyre essentially a set and dedicated point for your slide element (like shapes, images or icons). This dedicated point does not move, nor rotate.
Adjust the indent in a bulleted or numbered list on the ruler To change the position of the bullets or numbers, drag the first-line indent marker. To change the position of the text, drag the pointed top part of the left indent marker.
Go to Home and select Line and Paragraph Spacing Line Spacing Options at the bottom of the menu. The Paragraph dialog box opens. On the Indents and Spacing tab, select the options you want, and click OK. The Paragraph dialog box options are described in Adjust indents and spacing.
Hanging Indents Using Ctrl+T On most computers, you can create a hanging indent by selecting the line you want indented and then holding down the Ctrl and T buttons at the same time. If you are using a Mac, press Cmd T instead.
Change tab settings Right-click the paragraph, and then select Paragraph. In the Paragraph dialog box, click Tabs. To change the alignment of a tab, click the tab stop position that you want to change, and then set the alignment to Center or Right. Note: You can add a new tab stop from inside this control.
You can lock any object that you can add to the slide. To lock a shape in PowerPoint (or lock an image, object, placeholder or table), first save your file locally, then select the object to lock and click the Shape locker feature on the PPT Productivity ribbon.
Remove or clear a hanging indent Select the text where you want to remove a hanging indent. Go to Home Paragraph dialog launcher. Indents and Spacing. Under Special, select None. Select OK.
Back at the Home tab, click the Arrange button. A dropdown menu will appear. In the Group Objects section, select Group. The selected objects will now be grouped, successfully anchoring the image to your text.
