hello guys welcome to my channel this is the 29th tutorial in this course and in this tutorial we are going to talk about SQL joints now those of you who heard things about joins like you know joins are really difficult and you know its impossible to master joins and all those things you know I guess you would have to put all those things at the back of your mind for this tutorial because joins are extremely simple but very powerful and you know at some point of time in your life if you want to make a career as a database administrator then you would have to learn joins and also use them extensively right now work for an MNC of five months as a database administrator and all I did everyday was just used as to a joint and pull out stuff from tables right so the reason why SQL joins are popular and so powerful is that joins allow you to pull information out from more than one table right so for the sake of this tutorial I have created another table and Ive given that table the name tu

JOIN clauses allow records from multiple statements and/or named states to be combined, based on a relationship between certain attributes in these statements.
Basically, we have only three types of joins: Inner join, Outer join, and Cross join. We use any of these three JOINS to join a table to itself.
The general form of a join is: SELECT FROM JOIN ON ; JOIN in the above is any of the various join statement key words, such as INNER JOIN, LEFT JOIN and so on. Different joins provide different ways to combine the two tables.
The plus sign is Oracle syntax for an outer join. There isnt a minus operator for joins. An outer join means return all rows from one table. Also return the rows from the outer joined where theres a match on the join key. If theres no matching row, return null.
Four types of joins: left, right, inner, and outer. In general, youll only really need to use inner joins and left outer joins. Which join type you use depends on whether you want to include unmatched rows in your results: If you need unmatched rows in the primary table, use a left outer join.
Example: SQL JOIN. Here, the SQL command selects customerid and firstname columns (from the Customers table) and the amount column (from the Orders table). And, the result set will contain those rows where there is a match between customerid (of the Customers table) and customer (of the Orders table).
Using conditional JOIN syntax, you can establish joins based on conditions other than equality between fields. In addition, the host and cross-referenced join fields do not have to contain matching formats, and the cross-referenced field does not have to be indexed.
