They have different quality levels, and you could decide which one you think looks the best. Once we create our signature, Ill also show you a few ways that you can very quickly and easily then reuse your signature. One of them is by saving it as a transparent PNG, and then Ill also show you how we could use something called quick parts within Microsoft Word. One thing to call out before we jump into this, today were creating an electronic signature. How we authenticate an autograph Always research the example under ultra-violet light, microscope and magnifying glass. Talk to the seller and find out any known history or provenance that comes with the piece. Date the item to within the signers lifetime. Ensure that the paper, ink and method are typical of the date.

One of the best ways to protect your autograph is by framing it. Placing your autograph in a UV protective frame blocks the signature from ultraviolet rays that cause fading. Also, framing your signature makes it nearly impossible for damage to occur from any spills, smudges, or folding.
Look closely at the ink to tell if a signature has been stamped on. If it is stamped, more ink will be located in the center of a given letter in the name. Another indicator in the ink is its color. Older signatures are likely to have oxidized, and so the ink should be a brown color if it was originally colored black.

How to write a signature Decide what you want your signature to convey. Analyze the letters in your name. Determine what parts of your name you want to include. Experiment with different styles. Think outside of the box. Choose your favorite signature.
When asking for an autograph or a picture, always be polite. Say please when asking, and say thank you when they have signed or after the picture has been taken. Remember that celebrities appreciate manners, too. Dont scream at them.
When should you get an autograph authenticated? It should be authenticated is you want to sell it. Its also a good idea to get authentication if you are going to pass it on to family. JSA is the top authenticator, but PSA and Beckett are also respected.
