And were going to see the six different joins or six different merges we can do in Power Query. We can do an inner join, full outer, left anti, right anti, left outer, right outer, and even a self join. Now, the word join means were going to take two tables and join them based on a column. Then, we can ask questions like, do both columns contain the same item? Does only the first column contain the item, but not the second? So join means we can join two columns, or as well see, we can even enjoy two columns, on one side and two columns on the other. The merge part of this means we will take the result, meaning is there overlap, and deliver a merge table. In each one of these cases, were taking two tables and doing some sort of join to get some sort of merged result.
