Title slides, the first slides in a PowerPoint deck, should always be capitalized using title case. This means that you capitalize almost all of the first letters of each word. You can use our tool to confirm which words should be capitalized.

To reference a PowerPoint presentation in APA Style, include the name of the author (whoever presented the PowerPoint), the date it was presented, the title (italicized), “PowerPoint slides” in square brackets, the name of the department and university, and the URL where the PowerPoint can be found.
To make text italic, select and highlight the text first. Then hold down Ctrl (the control key) on the keyboard and then press the I on the keyboard.
Only the stand-alone work should be either underlined or italicized, such as book title, magazine title, the name of a conference, etc. Parts of works, such as book chapters, magazine articles, and similar, should be presented in quotation marks.
To make the selected characters italic, select Ctrl+I. The characters are displayed in italic type.
