In this guide, I will show you how to quickly add italics to text in Gmail. To do this, you need to use the text formatting bar at the bottom of the email. This bar is not shown by default, but you can access it by moving your mouse to the toolbar next to the send button. Click on the letter "A" icon to open additional formatting options, including adding italics to your text. This toolbar also allows you to edit text, add bold emphasis, underline words, and change text color.
