hey so today Im going to be working through more italic fixing as Ive done in the last video or two and I think it might be a little more informative to most people if I go through and fix some display bold italics because theyve actually got some like thickness to them which makes some things easier and some things harder um yeah Im I also did this process for the display hairline and I showed a little bit of that in the first video so first things first um you know this is a prepped font as I explained in my process about preparing fonts for italics I run a script that Slants uh everything that is totally straight lines just to the italic angle and then things that have curvature I kind of do a mix of slanting and skewing or sorry sorry slanting AKA skewing and rotating to get them a little closer to what them I want them to be and you can see here Ive actually got some draft uh Cyrillic characters in this specific weight for namestance as well I did those for a workshop um wit

Because theyre events rather than published sources, theres no standard citation format for exhibitions. Your only requirements in Chicago style are to italicize the name of the exhibition (see CMOS 8.201) and to include enough details about the event to allow readers to identify it.

Key occasions for using italics include: To emphasize something. For titles of standalone works, such as books and movies. For vehicle names, such as ships. To show that a word is borrowed from another language. For the Latin scientific names of plant and animal species.
-scale exhibitions and fairs are capitalized but not italicized. Smaller exhibitions (e.g., at museums) and the titles of exhibition catalogs (often one and the same) are italicized.
An exhibition, in the most general sense, is an organized presentation and display of a selection of items. In practice, exhibitions usually occur within a cultural or educational setting such as a museum, art gallery, park, library, exhibition hall, or Worlds fairs.
