hey everybody in this video im going to show you how you can use tags in excel to group and categorize expenses so in front of me ive got some streaming services and theyre different monthly price tags and so what im going to do is approach this as if you were a cable company lets say creating your own sort of packages one might be a basic one one as a kids one and then tier one tier two tier three okay so what you might be tempted to do is you know put an x to say okay this one is included in this package this one including this one but what you end up doing there is creating all these extra extra columns that you dont need but im going to use this one column here just for tags to say okay these are all the areas that this line item belongs to so lets say everybody loves netflix and lets say okay well put basic it should be in the kids package tier one tier two and tier three you know something like disney plus maybe that doesnt go into the basic one ill just take it star
