to create this fur text effect in Photoshop type your text now create a group and place your text layer in it then double click to apply a layer style to the group add a drop shadow these are my settings pause the video to see them apply a second Shadow this is a contact Shadow and now add a bevel and emboss with these settings next enable the cat layer clip it to the group below and transform the layer until the fur covers the entire text now enable the brush tool go into the brush presets click on the gear icon and choose Legacy brushes then press OK from the brush presets search for a brush called grass and select the one called dune grass then from the brush settings disable color Dynamics and transfer under the shape Dynamics set the angle control to Direction next create a new layer and paint on the edges to reveal the fur donamp;#39;t forget to click on the axis check boxes to paint along the direction the fur faces
