What is a memorandum of agreement? A memorandum of agreement is a cooperative agreement between two or more parties, documenting the details of the collaboration, but different from a memorandum of understanding, the agreement is more likely to impose obligations on those involved.
While in some cases this may be a benefit, since neither party is required to do what they say in the MOU, they can simply walk away or change their expectations. Of course, this all depends on the intent and legal language of the MOU.
The MOU may be cancelled by either party upon sixty (60) days written notice except where the cancellation is for cause, i.e., a material and docHub bdocHub of these provisions, it may be cancelled upon delivery of written notice to the other party.
The terms of this agreement may be amended upon written approval by both original parties, and their designated representatives. The MOA becomes effective upon the date of approval. Either party can cancel this agreement upon 60 days written notice to the other party.
