today Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to distort text without rasterizing it and keeping it completely customizable in Photoshop so here we have a text layer press ctrl or command T right click on it as you can see distort is grayed out so usually what we do we right click here and choose rasterize type but the problem is you can press ctrl or command T you can choose distort and you can make those changes and then press Enter or return but the problem is you cannot change the text now right so instead of doing that I suggest you do this letamp;#39;s go back right-click and choose convert to smart object now you can press ctrl or command T to right click on it and choose whatever you want letamp;#39;s choose distort and distort it the way we like just hit Enter now you might think hey how do I change the text of course you can double click on the thumbnail it opens up another document you can make any change you want if you want to extend it you can do that as well use the crop too
