hi heather iamp;#39;m not sure how you adjusted the footnote iamp;#39;m just going to show you the way that the book was looking for it so if you hover down underneath the dividing line for the footnote and right click in the footnote choose style and then youamp;#39;ll click modify and this is where you would change the size to 12 and then double space and then you would click format choose paragraph and then you would choose first line indent and itamp;#39;s automatically a half inch and then you would see your sample down the bottom in the preview click ok ok and apply iamp;#39;m not sure if you did it that way but if you did it manually from up here in the font group it probably even though itamp;#39;s correct i didnamp;#39;t like that way so iamp;#39;m not sure if that was it i hope this was helpful thanks heather
