QUESTION STEP 1: CHECK THAT THE FONTS HAVE BEEN EMBEDDED. STEP 2: PUT SOME DEFAULT TEXT INTO ALL FORM FIELDS. STEP 3: ENSURE THE FORM FIELD IS NOT SET TO RICH TEXT FIELD. STEP 4: OPEN PDF IN LATEST VERSION OF docHub READER.
The reason for this can be that the document was produced incorrectly. Another common reason is that the character mapping information was deliberately obfuscated as a protection mechanism to prevent the reader to copy paste the text data.
Fonts may look different if you chose a replacement font that is different in size and shape from the one used in your PDF. To avoid this issue, upload the original font during the PDF import process.
Change Text Font in PDF Navigate to Edit Edit Text Choose the text to modify Select your desired font Apply it. You can also adjust the font size as needed within the PDF.
If you save a report in the PDF format, and the fonts look weird in the saved file - this may be caused by rare peculiarity local to your system. Basically, its triggered by the absence (or manual removal) of the most widely-used Arial Font Family (causing the weird fonts to substitute it upon generating PDFs).
Solution 1. Check for Updates of PDF Viewers On your PC, start docHub. Select Check for Updates under Help. After downloading the most recent version, reopen the problematic PDF file to see if the odd characters disappear.
Adjust the encoding: Garbled text may be caused by incorrect encoding settings. In docHub, you can adjust the encoding settings by going to the Edit menu, selecting Preferences, and then selecting Page Display. Under the Rendering section, try changing the Smooth Text and Enhance Thin Lines options.
