okay Iamp;#39;m getting ready to lay out another issue of my magazine and Iamp;#39;ve always had trouble importing from word on wherever text that is formatted so italics and bold etc so today in affinity publisher Iamp;#39;m going to work on importing text and preserving the formatting now when you do so Iamp;#39;d like to give a special shout out to woven on the affinity forums who came up with a workaround that I want to remember which is why Iamp;#39;m making this video so the first thing to do is to make a few character styles the the formatting types youamp;#39;re going to want to preserve so we adding a character style Iamp;#39;m gonna call this one body bold is the font family I often use EB Garamond for all sorts of stuff and Iamp;#39;ll make sure I call it bold and I believe that that will be enough now Iamp;#39;m going to add another character style Iamp;#39;m gonna call it body see if I can spell body italic again Iamp;#39;m gonna call it italic now you can do a
