In Word, you can select all text in a document (Ctrl+A), or select specific text or items in a table by using the mouse or keyboard. You can also select text or items that are in different places.
Highlighting in Microsoft Word is easy. First, select the text that you want to highlight by clicking and dragging with your cursor. Then, click on the Text Highlight Color button in the Home tab of the ribbon menu. It looks like a marker pen and is in the Font group.
To put the selected text in italics, press the Ctrl + I keys. To underline the selected text, press Ctrl + U keys. To undo text formatting, use the same keyboard shortcuts.
In the Replace format options, select Fonts Font style italic and click Ok. When clicking replace All the particular word will be changed to italics throughout the document.
