if i straight up just slant this to the italic angle i want its going to look like that and you can see here its really pretty bad the lines get thicker here and thinner here its quite pointy here and two flat here this doesnt look like an italicized circle as a good geometric italic o should um but what is an italic circle to make italics you generally want to partly skew partly rotate and then go fix things so they look right so its kind of a long process a lot more than you might expect and so if i skew this by that and rotate it by that this is actually starting to look to my eyes a lot better and yet its kind of still not quite looking right
