hey so today Iamp;#39;m going to be working through more italic fixing as Iamp;#39;ve done in the last video or two and I think it might be a little more informative to most people if I go through and fix some display bold italics because theyamp;#39;ve actually got some like thickness to them which makes some things easier and some things harder um yeah Iamp;#39;m I also did this process for the display hairline and I showed a little bit of that in the first video so first things first um you know this is a prepped font as I explained in my process about preparing fonts for italics I run a script that Slants uh everything that is totally straight lines just to the italic angle and then things that have curvature I kind of do a mix of slanting and skewing or sorry sorry slanting AKA skewing and rotating to get them a little closer to what them I want them to be and you can see here Iamp;#39;ve actually got some draft uh Cyrillic characters in this specific weight for namestance as

If the punctuation is part of the content of the sentence, yes. For example, Yes, you will! and Wont he? have the exclamation point and question mark italicized along with the text. With a period, it doesnt matter.
An exclamation point is used after a word group or sentence in order to emphasize a point or to express strong emotion or surprise. Use of the exclamation point is optional for the writer. It is one of the few ways that a writer can indicate how words may sound when spoken.
An exclamation mark, usually in parentheses (italicized in square brackets in quoted material), is sometimes used to indicate incredulity on the part of the writer. As with the analogous use of the question mark, this is a technique easily overdone: Mr.
Italicize such foreign words and phrases as terra incognita, in vivo, and inter alia; however, if the word or phrase is commonly used in your field (e.g., in situ, et al., ad hoc, ab initio), you may omit the italics. Italicize hyphenated prefixes (such as cis-, trans-, o-, m-, and p-) to chemical formulas.
CBE considers whether a Latin word is common and suggests that in vitro and in vivo not be italicized.
If the exclamation mark is not part of a sentence-ending title, dont italicize the exclamation mark: Ive asked you not to sing la Marseillaise! In academic prose, an exclamation point is used rarely, if at all, and in newspaper writing the exclamation point is virtually nonexistent.
Similar to a question mark, when a quote has an exclamation mark, the quotation marks should go after the exclamation point. If the sentence does have an exclamation point, but the quote does not, then the exclamation point goes outside of the quotation marks. Examples: Yes, I will marry you!
In modern American English, a comma should follow both e.g. and i.e. And because they have both become so commonplace, it is unnecessary to place the abbreviations in italics, even though they are abbreviated Latin phrases.
