hey everybody and welcome back to the epilogue studio today weamp;#39;re gonna take a look at laser engraving some MDF and some acrylic to make a couple of stamps for D Boston leather we already have some pre-cut leather patches we just need to engrave and cut some stamps to go with them weamp;#39;ve prepared some graphics for our stamps the main thing to remember here is that you need to mirror your graphic so that when you stamp into the leather the impression that is left on the leather reads correctly weamp;#39;re also going to make sure that our stamps are the same size and shape as our leather patches and this is just gonna make it a bit easier later on when weamp;#39;re trying to line up our stamps weamp;#39;re engraving into a piece of MDF and a piece of clear acrylic weamp;#39;ve masked both of these materials to help keep the surface of our stamps as clean as possible you donamp;#39;t need to do this weamp;#39;re gonna end up cleaning our engraving anyway but

Engravers is a serif typeface designed by Robert Wiebking in 1899. This style of formal, engraved lettering was popular around the turn of the twentieth century. The design features wide letterforms and is available in uppercase only, which is traditional for the engravers genre.
Best fonts for engraving Times New Roman: A standard serif font for print, inscriptions in this font are easy to read. Arial: A sans serif block letter option, Arial is softer than Times New Roman, but is still legible on smaller surfaces if you would like a more casual block option.
The Cricut Maker or Maker 3 can engrave 2 mm or thinner acrylic, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, pewter, leather, and acetate. Thicker materials wont fit under the roller bar in your Cricut, or they might even damage it so always measure your blank.
