hi guys welcome to this session in Libra office calc in this module I want to show you how some of the date functions work in calc at the top of the screen Iamp;#39;ve got some dates you can see them there and then these are the functions Iamp;#39;m going to go through and you can see the results there and this is just a list of whatamp;#39;s going to happen so if I just replicate this list over here the first oneamp;#39;s fairly straightforward what is the year in that date cell so itamp;#39;s basically the year function equals year open the bracket and then select the cell thatamp;#39;s got a date in it and just tick that and it should come back with 2022 and then the month function equals months open the bracket click on the same date click the tick comes back with the 10th and then the day function equals day what day of the of the month is that itamp;#39;s the third all that is the same third 10th 2022. now days the days function is the days between two days so if you click

Right click on the date field you want formatted and select the Control menu. From that, select the General tab, then scroll down to Date Format and select the elipses button. Here you can modify the formatting of the date for the Form.

If youre using Insert Fields Date, this inserts a date field--an object that displays a date. You can change the format used to display the date, either when you insert the field (use Insert Fields Other Document Type: Date ) or after you insert the field, by double-clicking on the field.
