Why would you get rid of all the other numbers? The binary system is very useful in electronics, because you can use the ones and zeroes to stand for on and off. Like flipping a switch? Exactly. Imagine zero stands for OFF, and one means youve switched it ON. Okaaay I know it can be confusing, because you come from a decimal world. Decimals? We have 10 fingers. So we get used to counting by 10s. Thats what decimal means. Deci- means 10. Like how decade means 10 years? Right. So when you count up o
