when I was in college I took an entire course called typography which dealt mostly with formatting text weamp;#39;ll be covering it here for about three minutes in this video Iamp;#39;ll be showing you the three main basics of text formatting this is changing the font bold and italics for me the main goal of text formatting is to make the information easier to read thatamp;#39;s it I donamp;#39;t spend hours finding the perfect font or color I just want to make it easier to read as you can see our spreadsheet is a little boring letamp;#39;s make it easier to read by adjusting the formatting of some of the text the first thing I want to do is change all the fonts to Ariel this font is pretty much available on every application that lets you change the font to select all I press Ctrl a twice you have to do it twice to guarantee that it selects everything Ctrl a lets you select the entire spreadsheet next you will click on the pull down menu to find Ariel itamp;#39;s right here Arie
