Once youve logged in: Navigate to the HOME screen on your Zip app. Select your account tile (Zip Pay/Zip Money) In the top right corner click Manage Select the change payment method. Enter your nominated card details (please note that credit cards can only be added to Zip Pay accounts).
Having trouble adding a payment method? In order to successfully add a new payment method to your Zip account, please ensure: The zip code you enter for your card must match the billing zip code on file with your bank or card company. You have a valid US mailing address tied to your payment method..
If you are having an issue making a purchase please ensure: Your account is not overdue, you will be unable to make a purchase when your account is behind on repayments. You have a valid payment method on your Zip account. Your personal details on your Zip account are up-to-date, these can be updated here.
If the cardholder has recently moved, it may take their bank a while to have the correct zip code on file for them. If the cardholder hasnt moved recently, they may wish to call their bank and confirm that the information their bank has on file is correct.
If Zip cant approve your payment, Zip will let you know why but its most likely for one of the following reasons: You dont have a valid payment method linked to your Zip account. Youve docHubed your credit limit for your account. Your Zip account payments are overdue.
How do I add a bank card to my Zip account? Navigate to the HOME screen on your Zip app. Select your account tile (Zip Pay/Zip Money) In the top right corner click Manage Select the change payment method. Enter your nominated card details (please note that credit cards can only be added to Zip Pay accounts).
When you are required to add a payment method, simply tap the Pay with Zip button at the bottom of the page. The Single-use card number should fill out automatically. If it doesnt, enter the Single-use card number, expiration date and CVV manually.
If you are getting an error message when attempting to check out using a Zip Single-use card please check: that all necessary fields have been filled out (i.e. name, card number, expiry and CVC) you have sufficient funds available in your selected Zip account.
