hello everyone in this video we are going to make a pdf reader application for android and we will be using this pdf viewer library to load our pdfs so lets get started at first here as you can see i have opened a new android project called pdf reader so now we are into the activity main.xml lets change this parent layout to okay its already in linear layout okay so inside here ill add a recycler view this android x dot recycler view dot widget and ill set the width and height to match parent all right then ill give this recycler view an id ill call it recycler view all right now lets create a custom layout for our elements so ill go to the rest folder under the layout ill create a new layout resource file and ill call it element underscore holder all right so from here ill change the parent layout to card view ill change the height to wrap content ill add some margin here ill add margin top adp and margin end 8 db ill also add a card elevation of 8 db and also a card
