Googles Workspace apps, such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides, come with a selection of typefaces to choose from, accessible via the Font menu. But did you know you can actually add any font from the Google Fonts library to this menu, too?
Add a font from Google Fonts Select the Text tool in the toolbar or open the Text panel. Click the font name in either the tool options bar or the Text panel. Click More fonts at the bottom of the font menu. Search by entering the font name in the search field. Select the fonts you want to use.
Do any of the following: In the Font Book app , choose File Add Fonts to Current User. In the window that appears, double-click the font file. Drag the font file to the Font Book app icon in the Dock, then click in the dialog that appears.
To import a Google custom font in your engagement: Navigate to fonts.google.com. In the Fonts tab, select a font style. Click Select this style. Click on the View selected families icon. From the Selected Family drawer, copy the link to embed the font into the of your HTML.
To do this, click on the menu showing the name of the font thats currently selected. In the dropdown that appears, above the big list of currently available fonts, youll notice a More fonts button: Once you press More fonts, a modal dialog window will open where you can start to add to your collection.
Just copy the part of the code between the tags, e.g., @import url(); . Open your CSS file or HTML document. If youre using a separate style sheet, open the . css file that you want to edit in your text editor.
Add a font Download the font files. If the font files are zipped, unzip them by right-clicking the .zip folder and then clicking Extract. Right-click the fonts you want, and click . If youre prompted to allow the program to make changes to your computer, and if you trust the source of the font, click Yes.
