this is a demonstration of the pbc t1a having been fitted to the ft 209 and the ft 709 when i power the radio up weamp;#39;re going to default to tone f the local area code 94.8 hertz and in this case what iamp;#39;d like to do is change the turn frequency to tone c so iamp;#39;ll use the tone burst button which iamp;#39;ve used for tone select a b c iamp;#39;ll just quickly lock that into the memory okay now what iamp;#39;ll do is iamp;#39;ll change frequency to a local uh repeater which is run by g4 rky and this uh repeater requires uh 77 hertz turn which weamp;#39;ve now set the radio to so when i transmit we should hopefully open the the repeater okay what iamp;#39;d now like to do is go back to the default frequency which ordinarily would mean that what weamp;#39;d have to do is power the radio down and power back up but what iamp;#39;ve done in this uh instance is um iamp;#39;ve used both the lamp button and the tone select button um to facilitate me getting back to t

Posted July 20, 2022. The TID radio has 8 repeater channels labeled RPT-1 through RPT-8. These are the channels you need to use for talking on the repeater. The radio is tuned to receive on the repeaters output channel and transmit on the repeaters input channel which is 5 MHz above the receive frequency.
