What I love about bitmap textures is that it allows you to work within a set color palette. This is super important when youamp;#39;re working with a client or just on a project when you donamp;#39;t want have lots of different colors going on, and youamp;#39;ve got a really limited set palette. There is no real difference between the . tif and . tiff file extensions. They both refer to the same file format, which is the Tagged Image File Format (TIFF).
5 steps to convert a TIFF file to PDF In Acrobat, navigate to the Create PDF option from the Tools menu. Click on Select A File. Navigate to the location of your TIFF file and click on it. Choose Create. Click the save icon to save your new PDF to the desired location.

Convert TIFF to text with OCR software: Click inside the file drop area to upload TIFF file or drag drop TIFF file. Click the Scan Scan Image to start the OCR process. Recognition results will be displayed and can be copied.
To open a TIFF file in Photoshop, go to File Open , locate the desired . tif or . tiff file, select it, and click Open . The file will open in a new window or tab, allowing you to edit and work with the image as needed.
Using the Tiffs in Illustrator Now that you have a couple tiffs to use, open a new file in Illustrator and drag in one of these tiffs. It will import in black and white. Once you select the tiff, you can change the fill color!
Word has useful image-editing tools you can view by right-clicking your TIF and selecting Format Picture to open the Format Picture window. This window contains multiple buttons you can click to change the images appearance.
