now Im going to create the text boxes for the username and password fields to create a text box and react negative you use the text input element again we specify style which will define soon enough Im providing a place all the string to the element just as we would with HTML inputs Im just duplicating this for the password field to find the style rules for this element we used input as the rule on the element so we use that for the key on our style rules object Ill give that a bit of height some spacing on the top and some spacing inside lets also give it a Borden arm ok so its way more visible now but everything is squished up on the sides to fix this I add some padding on the consignor hmm that looks better we can type some text into these elements in the simulator as you can see the password is not very secure at the moment the text input component has an additional attribute called secure text entry which when sated two masks the input
