hello this is nick andre your at home instructor welcome you to another q a video i recently received an email from a student asking me how to insert a text file into a word document that already exists in another folder so in this screencast i will demonstrate how to take text from an existing file and bring it into your current document to do this im going to click anywhere in the document im going to hold my control key on my keyboard and hit the n key what thatll do is ill jump to the very last line of my document this is where they want me to insert the text ing to our first lab under myitlab now im going to come up to the insert tab im going to come all the way over here to the right side where it says object and the arrow pointing down let me click on that triangle and now im going to use text from file now i need to find where ive downloaded my source file from my myitlab account im going to scroll to the left over here im going to click on my drive so its my e drive
