Hello. Today we are going to talk about inserting text boxes and shapes. So these are two completely different things, but they are both linked under the drawing tools formatting tab. Show you what that means in a minute. So lets start with text boxes, because they are probably the more common tool in Excel. So they are under the Insert tab. And they are over here in the text area. Right here is text box. Click on text box. Notice my cursor turns into this weird, kind of, not sure what that is, but if you click and drag, you just drew a text box. And so in a text box, this is where you write a message, like hello world. And so if you wanted to format that text, you are free to format it however you want to format it. Right Im here under the home tab, growing my font. Right? Bolding my font. Changing my font. Right? Discuss your reason for leaving You should be as honest as possible but do it with empathy and respect. Whining about a bad boss or even a toxic workplace is very common among departing employees. However, we strongly suggest that you find a better way to express this without being arrogant.
What to Say in an Exit Interview Your reason for leaving. How well your job was structured and if you had the appropriate tools to succeed. If you had opportunities to learn and grow. How you feel about your manager and other leaders. What you liked most about your job and the company.
How to answer it: Be honest but calculated. For example, if youre leaving for more pay, you may want to say, I found a job with more opportunities for me, when you dont want to reveal your new salary. If its for personal reasons, feel free to get as personal as you want, but again, vague might be better.
Your exit interview isnt the time to slam your former colleagues or talk about how much you hated one of your managers. Keep your language work appropriate, and remember to keep other peoples feelings in mind. Your honest feedback is welcome, but not when its offensive toward others.
What not to say in an exit interview - 5 phrases to avoid My manager was a nightmare to work for. The pay is terrible. / Im not being paid enough. Let me tell you whats wrong with this company Everyone in my department wants to leave. It was impossible to do my job with such poor resources.
Be Honest. First and foremost, you must be honest with your HR department about your working experience. Remember, their primary goal for the exit interview is to gain insight into how the company works from an insiders perspective. If you want your feedback to be useful, you need to tell them the truth.
Because you are ending your employment here, I wish to conduct an exit interview with you. Id like to gain insight into your experiences, both good and bad, to help improve the working conditions of current and future employees. Please review the attached questionnaire prior to your exit interview.
Would you recommend our company to prospective employees? Would you ever consider working for our company again in the future? How did you feel about the feedback you received from your manager? Did you receive enough training to do your job effectively?
