Descending can also be thought of as climbing down the stairs of numbers starting from the highest value. Moving down the slide is descending. The opposite of descending order is known as ascending order, in which the numbers are arranged from lower value to higher value.
You can use the ASC and DESC keywords to specify ascending (smallest value first) or descending (largest value first) order. The default order is ascending. For DATE and DATETIME data types, smallest means earliest in time and largest means latest in time.
The ASC keyword helps us sort in ascending order while the DESC sorts in descending order. If no keyword is specified in which we have to sort the records in the column, it will take its default value. `It sorts the records in ascending order by default.
You can use the ASC and DESC keywords to specify ascending (smallest value first) or descending (largest value first) order. The default order is ascending. For DATE and DATETIME data types, smallest means earliest in time and largest means latest in time.
Answer: In general terms, Ascending means smallest to largest, 0 to 9, and/or A to Z and Descending means largest to smallest, 9 to 0, and/or Z to A. Ascending order means the smallest or first or earliest in the order will appear at the top of the list: For numbers or amounts, the sort is smallest to largest.
Click on a row in the table to select the timetable you want to export. Then at the top of the window, from the menu select "Export". This will open a new window, where are the settings for the export of a timetable. Area: select the area you want to export.
Solution 3 select * from table where myfield like '%15\% off%' ESCAPE '\' set @myString = replace( replace( replace( replace(@myString,'\','\\'), '%','\%'), '_','\_'), '[','\[') select * from table where myfield like '%' + @myString + '%' ESCAPE '\'
If you want to sort some of the data in ascending order and other data in descending order, then you would have to use the ASC and DESC keywords. SELECT * FROM table ORDER BY column1 ASC, column2 DESC; That is how to use the ORDER BY clause in SQL to sort data in ascending order.
Still it's easy to remember: ascending = increasing for numbers and alphabetical order for letters. Descending = the opposite.
Basically it can be boiled down to 3 steps: Click here to add absent teachers/rooms or classes(groups). Based on your timetable the software shows which lessons have to be covered/substituted. ... The software shows you the possible teachers that can cover the selected lesson. ... That's it.
