To create objects and specify the properties before creation: Double-click the desired tool (or press the tools shortcut key twice). Enter the desired criteria. Click OK. Click in the drawing to insert the object based on Plug-in Types.

To create a new symbol: Select the object to convert into a symbol. To create a hybrid symbol, select both the 2D and 3D objects, which become the 2D and 3D components of the symbol. In Top/Plan view, align the objects first (symbol alignment can be adjusted after creation with the Edit Symbol command).
To insert a symbol with the Symbol Insertion tool, double-click on the symbol definition to make it active, and then click in the drawing to place a symbol instance. You can also drag and drop symbols into the drawing from the Resource Manager.
The lean VSM FIFO icon is used to indicate a first in, first out flow of material between workstations. ​ A FIFO lane is an inventory where the parts leave in the same sequence as they arrive. There is a limit to the maximum inventory. If the FIFO lane is full, the receding process stops.
