hi this is Steven with far school in this video were going to go over how fast call can set the subject field for task records when logging the results of a call as you already know first call logs calls with its own custom object the call and optionally with the Salesforce object the task theres lots of information about the call that is stored in specialized fields on the call object but cannot be stored on the task object because those specialized fields dont exist fast call works around this by allowing you to customize the subject of the task this is only really useful if youre using tasks to view call information if youre using the calls as your main source of information you dont need this you can access the subject settings through fast call settings admin settings logging and subject here you can see that fast call can set a different subject for the task record for each type of call and you can append additional information to the subject in this case lets append the

Login into SFDC. GoTo Setup-Activities-Activity Custom Fields. Create new custom field(here its a picklist) by clicking on New Button.
