To insert a copy of your file into another, embed or link to it. Go to Insert Object. Select Create from File. Select Browse and choose the file you want to use. Select Insert. Choose Display as icon to embed, or Link to file for a link. Select OK.
Create a new object from inside Excel Click inside the cell of the spreadsheet where you want to insert the object. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Object . On the Create New tab, select the type of object you want to insert from the list presented. Click OK. Create the new object you want to insert.
Insert a new object To create a new file that is inserted into your Word document or email message: In the Object dialog box, click the Create New tab, and then select an option from the Object type list. The default program for that file type opens, where you can enter any text or data you want.
Click where you want to insert the table of contents usually near the beginning of a document. Click References Table of Contents and then choose an Automatic Table of Contents style from the list.
Detailed Solution Ctrl + shift + plus sign(+): To open the insert dialogue box to insert blank cells. Click Object under the Text group on the Insert tab. On the Create from File tab, click. Select the desired file by clicking Browse and then choosing it.
Click the Insert tab located in the menu ribbon. From there, select the Text box located on the upper right side of the menu ribbon. Then click Object.
Inserting a document Click or tap where you want to insert the content of the existing document. Go to Insert and select the arrow next to Object . Select Text from File. Locate the file that you want and then double-click it. To add in the contents of additional Word documents, repeat the above steps as needed.
