Click on the Start button. Search for Regedit and open the Registry Editor. Navigate to HKEYCURRENTUSER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\StickyNotes. Double-click the PROMPTONDELETE registry entry. In the Value data box, type 1, and click OK. Exit the Registry Editor.
To stick a note to any Microsoft word document, right-click on the note title and choose the Stick To Window option from the menu, as shown in the below picture. Alternatively, press Ctrl+W from within the sticky note.
Or from the keyboard, press Ctrl+N to start a new note. Tips: You can pin Sticky Notes to the Windows taskbar to create a new note quickly. Right-click the Sticky Notes icon in the taskbar, and then click Pin to taskbar.
