Hi there! In this lesson youll learn about placing and resizing images. Youll learn about image frames, multiple image frames, and more, so lets get started. Lets quickly create a letter-sized document, so that we get onto business. To place an image, all we need to do is go to file, and then place, and locate the image from your computer, and your cursor will be loaded with the image, so when you click on the screen, the image will be placed, but youll get the shock of your life, because youll find your image something like this. Actually, let me zoom out for a better view. Youll find what looks like part of the image is somehow restricted within the pasteboard, and what is extended towards the rest of the area is nothing but anchor points. Lets grab this corner, and holding Shift, drag it in. Youll be surprised that even when you drag the corner of the image to bring it to the right size, the image is still not showing. You know why! Because the anchor point that you dragge

The entire genome is fragmented and used to construct libraries of varying insert sizes. Typically there are libraries of some smaller size (2, 4 or 6 Kb), libraries of intermediate size (10 - 40 Kb) and libraries with large insert sequences (>100 Kb).
Basically a complete NGS fragment prepared for sequencing consists of the original DNA fragment (insert size) and the adapters added at each end. The adapters have two main functions. Firstly, they allow an orientation-specific binding of the complete fragment to the flow cell by hybridization.
The insert is normally the stretch of sequence between the paired-end adapters, so in your case the insert size would be 250 bp (2x75 bp reads + 100 bp unsequenced middle piece).
Transpososomes are used to fragment DNA to be sequenced and add adapter sequences in a single step (known as tagmentation). The DNA between adapter the sequences is the insert. The length of this sequence is known as the insert size (not to be confused with the inner distance between reads, see Figure 1).
DNA to be made into a sequencing library must first be converted into small fragments. The average insert length should not exceed 600 bp (HiSeq 2500, MiSeq) or 350 bp (HiSeq 3000).
