Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can set up a signature in Outlook on both the desktop and on the web, and before we jump into it, as full disclosure, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. Why dont we jump into it, that way you could start looking very professional with nice signatures in your emails. Lets jump into it. All right, well here I am on my desktop and what were going to do first is I want to show you how to do it using Outlook desktop. I have Outlook here on my taskbar. Im going to go ahead and click on this. This is the latest version of Outlook, its part of Office 365. Itll probably work if you have an older version of Outlook as well, but I cant promise anything, but signatures havent changed that much. Its been a feature in Outlook for a very long time, so if you follow along, it should work for you regardless of what version you have. So here I am in Outlook. How do you update your signature?

Adding a quote can make your signature stand out and let you show off a bit of personality. That being said, not every quote was made to be an email signature. Heres a collection of quotes you can add to your email signature without worrying about sending the wrong message.
Use double quotation marks () around a direct quote. A direct quote is a word- for-word report of what someone else said or wrote. You use the exact words and punctuation of the original.
How to add a quote to your Gmail signature Click the Gear icon in Gmail (top-right corner) Select Settings. Scroll down to Signature in the Settings tab. Choose the signature to add a quote to, or create a new signature. Check out our signature quotes suggestions.
Add or change a signature Open Gmail. At the top right, click Settings. See all settings. In the Signature section, add your signature text in the box. If you want, you can format your message by adding an image or changing the text style. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes.
Ensure you get either a signature or written confirmation from the customer that they wish to proceed. Do this before you start any work or order materials. A quote, once accepted by the customer, becomes a legally binding contract.
This setting makes your signature(s) appear below the text that youve written when replying to a message. Not checking the box for this option means that your signature will show up at the bottom of the whole thread (including replies).
