Hey everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create an electronic signature directly within Microsoft Word. Ill show you a few different techniques for creating your signature. They have different quality levels, and you could decide which one you think looks the best. Once we create our signature, Ill also show you a few ways that you can very quickly and easily then reuse your signature. One of them is by saving it as a transparent PNG, and then Ill also show you how we could use something called quick parts within Microsoft Word. One thing to call out before we jump into this, today were creating an electronic signature. Thats basically an image of your handwritten signature, and that differs from a digital signature, which is a certificate that validates your identity. Thats out of the scope today. Signatory. A signatory is anyone that has signed or will sign a contract. Once they have signed a contract, the signatory is therefore bound by the obligations outlined in the legal agreement. There can be multiple signatories in any one contract.
Select the signature image Right click the signature line and click Sign. Now youll have three options to choose from. You can just type in your name to add a printed version of your signature. Alternatively, you can click Select Image and choose an existing image of your signature.

To add a digital signature, open your Microsoft Word document and click where youd like to add your signature line. From the Word ribbon, select the Insert tab and then click Signature Line in the Text group. A Signature Setup pop-up box appears. Enter your information in the text fields and click OK.
