basically scope shadow and parallax is one of the biggest problems that we run into not necessarily the scope or the scope shadow but the issue of parallax itamp;#39;s one of the itamp;#39;s actually the top problem that we deal with every week so letamp;#39;s go and get into the issue so parallax is basically when we have a target focus on a different plane than the actual reticle all right so what we do when we moved parallax we actually pull that target focus into the reticle so no matter where my eye is in the scope the reticle is not moving on target so when we have parallax in our scope and we move our head up and down we get a movement of the reticle on target that tells me I have parallax well people go well how much does it matter so youamp;#39;re gonna adjust your ocular and actually get the reticle in super clear focus and you adjust the target the problem is a lot of the younger military guys that I train every week their eyes are constantly adjusting and making that re

Apply Picture Effects Select the picture. Select Picture Tools Format and select Picture Effects. Select the one you want: Shadow, Reflection, Glow, Soft Edges, Bevel, or 3-D Rotation.
Select the word or paragraph that you want to apply shading to. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click the arrow next to Shading. Under Theme Colors, click the color that you want to use to shade your selection.
To apply a shadow effect only on one side of an element set the blur value to a positive number and set the spread value to the same size but with a negative sign. Depending on which side you want the shadow on, set the offset value as follows: Top shadow: offset-x: 0 and offset-y: -5px.
On the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Text Effects Shadow and then pick the shadow you want. When you rest your pointer on one of the shadow effects, it appears as a preview on the text.
Despite both printings being shadowless, usually only the 2nd printing is referred to as shadowless, as it is easier to differentiate the 1st printing by its Edition 1 logo. The image below shows a shadowless (left) and shadowed (right) card side-by-side.
Shadows are formed by light, because if light shines onto an object, and the object blocks the light, the light will go sideways of the object, and therefore, a shadow is formed.
On the Shape Format tab, select Text Effects Shadow and then pick the shadow you want. When you rest your pointer on one of the shadow effects, it appears as a preview on the text. Tip: To customize the shadow, click Shadow Options, at the bottom of the shadow choices.
What you learned: Explore effects like drop shadows in InDesign Select the object with the Selection tool. Click the fx button in the Properties panel to open the Transparency and Effects drop-down menu. Choose Drop Shadow to open the Effects dialog box. Adjust the drop shadow options.
